This soundscape was part of my dissertation at University.
One of the key elements behind a full multimedia experience that does not get explored as much as the rest of mediums, is audio. Without audio, every multimedia artifact, whether it is a video or an art exhibition, is missing another level in which the creator can use to express its message.
What I have produced for University is a soundscape based on the five stages of grief. For this piece, I will be using metal as a backdrop for the piece because I believe that metal has the same characteristics as grief: dark, loud and cold.
As music is not my strongest skill, one of the key elements that I have learnt from this, is the true meaning behind problem solving in a creative environment, planning a creative piece and working towards a final product.
To best experience this, please listen to this through headphones.
