2023 – Q3 in review

Ahoy hoy, how are we all? I hope you are well and cosy. This blog post is about 2023 Q3 in review.

My eczema

My eczema was doing okay, until a couple of weeks ago, I had my COVID booster jab, which had egg in it. So my eczema is worse than ever before, especially the face. This had lead me to having dailys baths again but not as long as 7 hours.

My #rockulele videos

My Green Day month was a sucess, including the hindi version of Bolverard of Broken dreams. Last month was my pumpkin spice month, where the rock songs were based around halloween and the pop songs were the Spice Girls. With the Spice Girls songs, I had bought 5 wigs to use for my videos. Next month is powerful female vocialists, in which the wigs shall return.

Me working

Unfortunately, I’m still not working. With my freecodecamp course, I’ve recently finished a clone of doodlejump.

My weight

I now weigh it at 60kg, the lowest that its ever been. Unfortunately due to me taking daily baths every morning, I haven’t done my daily abs exercises for a while. I do, however lift dumbbells twice a week.

My health

My mum picked up the phone one morning and heard the news that I was in the all-clear. However, the hospital has decided to increase the number of MRIs to twice a year.

My hyperbaric oxygen chamber

Due to the cost of living the whole world is under, I have made the choice to cut back on the hyperbaric oxygen chamber to once every two weeks. Before lockdown, my mum had a conversation with someone called Roger. Who used to use the chamber at the same depth as me, He said that he only used the chamber when he felt he needed it.

My podcast interview

I most recently took part in a podcast interview with the amazing Claire Bullimore Fayd’Herbe. Claire is also a brain tumour survivor who hosts a podcast called Aunty M Brain Tumours. It was nice to be allowed to share my story with someone who knew where I was coming from. To listen, click here

Second annual Glowbowl

A couple of weeks ago, me and my dad drove to London to take part in the Sliver Liner’s second annual glow bowl event, where I played Over the Rainbow. It was nice to finally see everyone that I have met online for the past 3 years, face to face for the first time.

That’s it for now. Once again, I just want to thank a few people. Firstly, I would like to thank my mum, dad, sister, and my Naughty Mamaji, for being by my side, throughout everything. I would like to thank everyone from BTS for sharing this with the community. I would like to thank Kanika, Shirley, and everyone at Carers Trust for giving me the confidence to share my story and I would like to thank Joe for motivating me to get back on the horse. And I would like to thank everyone at the hospital, my family and friends, and everyone I’ve met on this journey.

Next time, I’m going to talk about my 2023 – Q3 in review.

Please feel free to leave a comment and as always, if you buy something from Amazon, through the blog, or click on an advert, 100% of the money that I get goes to charity.
