2024 – Q4 in review

Ahoy hoy, how are we all? I hope you are well and warm. This blog post is about 2024 Q4 in review.

My eczema

Sadly, my eczema has flared up on my head. I accidentally had some gluten for one day and it massively flared up on my head. Thankfully, my legs are, finally, clearing up.

Unfortunately, I’m back to taking baths again.  However, they are not daily and not 7 hours long.  The most that I’ve had in a week is 3 and the longest bath that I’ve had was 40 minutes.

My #rockulele videos

Last month was my best of the rest series, in which I recorded songs that didn’t fit into a theme.

Based on the success of October’s flip-flop series, next month is going to be a rockulele Christmas. The rock songs will be sped-up, rocky versions of Christmas songs by Micheal Buble.

Me working

Unfortunately, I’m still not working, After my illness, I’ve worked on a couple of sites that have used a lot of shortcuts, which makes it tricky for anyone else to work on. So I’ve decided to do it for myself.

I have since restarted my freecodecamp course because I’m currently working on something that I’m stuck on.

My weight

My weight is now at 72kg, and I know it is heavy for me, but back in February I bought this smart scale and according to this scale, my muscle mass is at 57kg, In February, my muscle mass was at 50kg, which means that I have put on over 7kg of muscle.

My health

Back in October, on Diwalloween, I saw my new consultant and he said that everything is stable. He also said that the likelihood of my tumours returning is very slim. I’m now back to doing yearly MRIs

That’s it for now. Once again, I want to thank a few people. Firstly, I would like to thank my mum, dad, sister, my Naughty Mamaji and my Masi, for being by my side, throughout everything. I would like to thank everyone from BTS for sharing this with the community. I would like to thank Kanika, Shirley, and everyone at Carers Trust for giving me the confidence to share my story and I would like to thank Joe for motivating me to get back on the horse. And I would like to thank everyone at the hospital, my family and friends, and everyone I’ve met on this journey.

Next time, I’m going to talk about my 2025 – Q1 review.

Please feel free to leave a comment and as always, if you buy something from Amazon, through the blog, or click on an advert, 100% of the money I get goes to charity.
